JAKE'S REFUGE BLOG
Welcome to 40 days of fasting... DAY 4
SEPTEMBER 26
We, the Church, big C, must commit ourselves to prayer and fasting. I'm not talking about an unspecific sort
of prayer that asks God to bless America while we pursue gain and vainity and pass unrighteous laws in our
land. I'm talking about specifically humbling ourselves before God and confessing our sins as a nation. In Daniel 9,
we have reordered the cry of a man's heart to God for himself, his family, and his country...

Pre-Call Rally & 100x100 Campaign
OCTOBER 02
Hello everyone I wanted to share with you a couple of things going on here at the Refuge. First, most of you may
have already heard but Lou Engle from the CALL (www.thecall.com) will be here on Saturday,
October, 11th for the
Inland Empire Pre-CALL Rally. An 8-hour inter-denominational, multi-cultural gathering for prayer, worship, and
fasting crying out to God for our city, our region, our state, and our nation. The remedy to the chaos of the day
is found in the prophets and apostles of the New and Old Testament, prayer and fasting. Join us as we prepare for
November 1st when tens of thousands will gather at Qualcomm stadium for a 12 hour Solemn Assembly to prayer for
the state of California.
I also wanted to make you aware of our 100x100 Campaign at the Refuge that we began last weekend and will continue
into the beginning of 2009. The 100x100 Campaign is designed to inform and equip those who are interested in supporting
the Prayer Movement here in Rancho Cucamonga. The idea is simply to gather 100 new Partners to support the Refuge
financially for $100 or more for one year. This would be enough to fully fund the prayer house over the next year
and allow us to focus on building our new internship, the school of ministry that has been on the hearts of leaders
throughout the city (training leaders in the five-fold ministry, harp and bowl, the priesthood, and more), an arts
ministry (training young worshippers to lead others through the gifts and supernatural abilities God has given them),
and a 24/7 schedule so that one day we can throw away the keys to the building and never let the intercession and worship stop.
If you are interested in supporting the Refuge in this next season for any amount please check out our website,
www.refugehop.com/contact. Maybe this isn't the season you can afford $100 a month, that's okay. You can still help us
reach our goal by choosing to support the Refuge for any amount on a consistent basis; $10, $20, even $50 a month.
If you would like to give a one-time gift or even a year end gift for tax purposes we are a 501c3 Corporation and would
love to assist you in anyway we could to give to the Kingdom work God is doing here in Rancho Cucamonga. If you are currently
a Partner we thank you for your heart and commitment to what God is doing here in our city. Please continue to be faithful to
the covenant we have made together to pursue the heart of God for our city and to support those who have given their lives to
this work at the Refuge. Continue to keep this house and and our families in your prayers, we believe God is going to bring
revival to Rancho Cucamonga and the state of California which will flood across the nations of the earth. Greater than the
Jesus Movement, greater then Azusa Street, greater then the Vineyard and Calvary movements, God is preparing for a Great
Awakening in this state and we will be ready.
Remember, as California goes, so goes the Nation.
See you in the Prayer House.
